Why we started

Hey, I’m Josh. I run a pet & farm supply store.

My family has been in the feed business since 1992, when we opened Highland Feed & Water in Michigan (we’ve since sold it). In 2005 we put down roots in Pittsboro, North Carolina, where we own Pittsboro Feed and Pittsboro Pet Supply. I took over in 2024, and like every independent store, we get a fresh stack of vendor promos every single month.

Turning those promos into sale tags took someone on our team more than 20 hours a month, retyping every deal in Canva. Before that, we just printed off the manufacturers’ signs. Either way, half of them never quite fit the shelf. So I built the tool I wish we’d had years ago: the deals load in, you uncheck what you don’t carry, and you hit print. Every tag comes out the right size.

We started using it at our stores in May 2026. Here’s what happened when customers could actually see the deals:

Questions retailers ask

Is it really free?Yes. Vendors and our presenting sponsor pay for TagDrop so independent retailers never do.

Will a sponsor logo show up on my tags?No. Sponsors appear inside the app only. Your printed tags carry your store’s look and nothing else.

What printers work?Any printer your computer or phone can print to, including Wi-Fi printers through AirPrint or Android printing. Print at 100% scale with background graphics on.

Do I need an account?No. Your deals and design are saved in your browser. Export a CSV backup any time.

What do you do with my data?Your deals, logo and settings never leave your device. They’re saved only in your own browser, and TagDrop has no accounts. We count visits with cookie-free analytics, and that’s it. Read the privacy policy.

Quick start

Open This month’s deals. Every deal starts checked.
Uncheck anything you don’t carry. Use − / + for extra copies, and × to remove a brand you never carry.
Hit Print (next to the Design tab on a computer, bottom of the screen on a phone). The button shows how many tags you’re about to print.

Use the search box above your deals to find a brand fast. Zoom the preview with − / +, or pick Fit width or Full page.

No account, no sign-up. The first time you visit, a few example deals load so you can see how it works. Replace them with your own under + Add my own deals.

Add your deals

Fastest: let an AI read your deal sheet.

Go to + Add my own deals and click Copy the prompt.
Open Claude or ChatGPT, attach your loyalty program’s monthly promo PDF, and paste the prompt.
Copy the list it gives back, paste it into the box, and click Replace my deals (or Add to my deals to keep what you have).

Or build the list yourself. Click Download sample CSV, open it in Excel or Numbers, replace the rows with your deals, save as CSV, and choose the file.

Columns: Brand, Small line (SAVE, BUY 2 GET), Big line ($6, 20%, 1 FREE), Product, End date (M/D/YY, like 12/31/26), and optional Qty.

Ready-made deal lists

Under + Add my own deals you’ll find ready-made lists, like this month’s Astro Loyalty deals. Tick the box to confirm you’ll check them, then tap Add to my deals (keeps what you have) or Replace my deals (starts fresh). Each list is tagged, like ASTRO OCT, so you can tell lists apart and search for them.

Every list shows the date and time it was last updated. If we post a newer version, you’ll see a note above your deals with a button to reload it.

Disclaimer: please check every deal yourself. Ready-made lists are put together by TagDrop from each program’s published deal sheets, as of the “updated” date shown. Deals can change after that, and we can make mistakes. Before you print, compare the list against your official program list. If they don’t match, the official list wins. You’re responsible for the prices and offers on your shelf. TagDrop isn’t affiliated with Astro Loyalty or any other loyalty program.

Spotted a mistake? Uncheck that deal, add the right one under + Add my own deals, and email hello@tagdrop.app so we can fix the list for everyone.

Make it look like your store

Open Design (set once). Everything there prints on every tag:

Style and colors: choose Classic or Store brand at the top of Design, then pick a palette or set your own.
Top banner: change the word (Sale, Deal, Special) and add your store logo.
Footer: {date} becomes each deal’s end date. Add fine print like “While supplies last.”
Tag size and paper: shelf tags, wide tags, endcap cards, or a custom size.

Click Save these settings when you’re happy with it.

Printing

In the print dialog, use these settings:

Scale: 100%, not “Fit to page.”
Background graphics: on, so the colors print.
Headers and footers: off. Paper and orientation should match Design.

From your phone: tap Print, then choose your Wi-Fi printer. iPhone uses AirPrint and Android uses its built-in printing.

Putting them up: cut along the cut lines and fold on the dashed line. The top part tucks behind the shelf.

Your data

Your deals, design, and logo are saved in this browser on this device. Nothing is sent to us. If you switch computers or clear your browser data, they won’t follow you, so use Export my deals as CSV to keep a backup. Read the full Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

Tags print too small or too big

Set Scale to 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page.”

Colors are missing

Turn on Background graphics in the print dialog.

A deal isn’t showing

Its end date has passed. Uncheck Hide expired to see it.

Text looks too big or small

Design → Type has a size slider for each line.

A deal list doesn’t match my official sheet

Your official list wins. Uncheck the deal, add the right one yourself, and email us so we can fix it.

My deals disappeared

You’re on a different browser or device, or browser data was cleared. Load your CSV backup.

The fine print, in plain English.

The short version

TagDrop is free for retailers. Use it to make sale tags for your store.
You’re responsible for the prices and offers on your shelf. Always check your tags against your official deal lists before you print.
TagDrop is provided “as is.” We work hard to get things right, but we can’t promise it’s perfect.

1. Who we are

TagDrop (“TagDrop,” “we,” “us”) runs the website at tagdrop.app. By using TagDrop, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

2. Using TagDrop

You can use TagDrop to create, print, and share sale tags and signs for your own business. Please don’t use it to break the law, mislead customers, copy or resell the site itself, or interfere with how it works.

3. Your prices are your responsibility

TagDrop is a tool for formatting tags. You decide what goes on them. Before printing, you’re responsible for making sure every price, offer, date, and product on your tags is accurate and follows the rules of the programs, brands, and laws that apply to your store, including pricing and advertising laws.

4. Ready-made deal lists

We may offer ready-made deal lists, such as loyalty program deals. We put these together from each program’s published deal sheets, and each list shows when it was last updated. Deals can change after that date, and we can make mistakes. Your official program list always wins. TagDrop is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Astro Loyalty or any other loyalty program, brand, or distributor unless we clearly say so.

5. Brand names and your content

Brand and product names that appear in deals or on tags belong to their owners and are used only to describe the deals. Anything you add, like your logo, store name, or deals, stays yours. TagDrop doesn’t receive it (see our Privacy Policy).

6. Sponsors

TagDrop is paid for by brands and sponsors so retailers don’t have to pay. Sponsors may appear inside the website. Sponsor branding never prints on your tags.

7. No warranty

TagDrop is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee the site will always be available, error-free, or that tags will print the same on every printer.

8. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, TagDrop won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost sales, pricing errors, or disputes with customers, programs, or brands that come from using the site or its deal lists. Because TagDrop is free for retailers, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to $100.

9. Changes

We may update TagDrop and these terms from time to time. When the terms change, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use TagDrop after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law and contact

Your deals stay on your device.

Effective September 23, 2026

The short version

There are no accounts, and we don’t ask for your name, email, or payment info to use TagDrop.
Your deals, logo, and design settings are saved only in your own browser. We never receive them.
We don’t sell or share personal information.

1. What stays on your device

Everything you add to TagDrop, including deals, quantities, removed brands, your logo, and design settings, is stored in your browser’s local storage on your device. It isn’t sent to us. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, it won’t come with you, so use Export my deals as CSV to keep a backup.

2. What we (and our host) may collect

TagDrop is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes basic technical information to deliver the site and keep it secure, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested.

We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It doesn’t use cookies, and it doesn’t track you across other websites. We only see totals, not who you are.

3. When you email us

If you email hello@tagdrop.app, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you and improve TagDrop. We don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask.

4. Feedback and feature requests

Our “Share feedback” and “Request a feature” links open optional Google Forms. Anything you type there goes to us through Google and is covered by Google’s privacy policy. We use it only to improve TagDrop, and we’ll ask before quoting you anywhere.

To know when to ask for feedback, TagDrop counts how many times you’ve printed. That count is stored in your browser only and is never sent to us.

5. Cookies

TagDrop doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. It uses your browser’s storage only to remember your deals and settings.

6. Sharing

We don’t sell, rent, or trade personal information. We only share information if the law requires it, or with service providers (like our host and email provider) that help us run TagDrop.

7. Children

TagDrop is a business tool meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Questions about your privacy? Email hello@tagdrop.app.
